Chaotic is an American-Canadian animation fantasy television series produced by 4Kids Entertainment and animated by Bardel Entertainment for Season 1 and Dong Woo Animation for Season 2-3. It's based on a game of Danish trading cards of the same name. Most of the plots are based on the original storyline of the Danish trading card game.

Premise

Chaotic tells the story of a teenage boy named Tom and his friend Kaz. They both play Chaotic Trading Card/Online Game. Kaz always tried to tell Tom about the secret code to play in real which Tom refused to believe. While playing online, Tom receives a special password. When he puts his password into his game scanner he is transported to a place called Chaotic that can take him to another world where characters, locations, and items in the card game come alive.

There are two parts to the world of Chaotic, Chaotic himself and Perim. Chaotic is where people play advanced versions of cards/online games where they turn into creatures. The game can be monitored through the monitor by other players.

The second part is Perim. In Perim, the creatures, locations, and objects of the game are real. Players from Chaotic games can teleport to Perim and scan locations, creatures, and items with their scanners, gain the ability to use them in their games. There are four tribes in Perim. The two tribes, the Underworld and the Underworld, have fought a great power called Cothica. Regardless of their name, no good and evil tribe is certain, because both have different stories and interpretations of how the war began, with each tribe viewing the other as a crime. The Danes and Mipedians have since joined the war, turning it into a four-way conflict over Cothica. It is said that the Mipedians once united with Overworlders and Denmark united with Underworlders. It is still unknown why they separated.

Both Chaotic and Perim consist of a mysterious code called "Chaotic Code". This code is logged because it keeps changing at random. So, it's considered "chaotic." In Perim, the Chaotic Code describes everything. It contains information for all creatures, BattleGear, attack, Mugic, and location. The Cothica, mentioned above, is the source of all the code in Perim. The code also explains everything in Chaotic. The BattleDromes, Transporters, and CodeScanners can analyze and/or modify this code for matches, transportation, or the creation of virtual cards.

When players are in Chaotic/Perim they exist simultaneously on Earth. When a Chaotic player leaves Chaotic, they become one more person and the Earth version of the player gets memories of whatever they experience in the Chaotic/Perim world. This is strange the first time they are transported, because their online deck is blocked so that Chaotic self they can use it and their scanners become non-functional, causing many people to believe that they have ruined their scanners until they re-unite with their Chaotic..

Broadcast

A short preview is shown on 4Kids TV on September 30, 2006 at 10:30 (ET). The show officially aired on October 7, 2006 at 10:30 (ET). 4Kids Entertainment plans to "roll the storyline for seven years", implying that there are seven seasons planned for the television series. The second season, named Chaotic: M'arillian Invasion , aired starting airing in September 2008 on 4Kids TV. When season 1 uses flash animation, the M'arillian Invasion season is animated in traditional animations. Jetix (USA) bought the cable rights for the show and started airing it every day at 7 am, October 1, 2007. The Secret Lost City season is animated in traditional animations, like the previous season.

Comcast Cable, Cox Communications and Bresnan Communications digital cable providers aired four new episodes in February 2008 on Video On Demand 4KidsTV.

Teletoon and The CW4Kids air most of the first episodes for their respective countries. The debut of CW4Kids began in February 2009 with M'arillian Invasion episode 14, while Teletoon began broadcasting the second season in January 2009. Cartoon Network took over the premiere for the last seven episodes of M'arrillian Invasion in the US. in August 2009, but The CW4Kids regained its first performance when the third series- The Secret of the Lost City started in Halloween 2009. Toon Disney aired the show in Jetix. On February 13, 2009, Jetix along with Toon Disney merged into a new network called Disney XD (a new channel similar in scope to Jetix). The Jetix brand no longer exists in the United States, but series 1, the original Chaotic, continues to air on Disney XD. Cartoon Network got the rights for the second and third seasons and started airing it and Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's in June 2009. By presenting the second season live, CW was able to perform its first episode before CW4Kids. The finale series aired on March 13, 2010, but the show continued to air on Cartoon Network and Disney XD until 2011.

In January 2009, the first season Chaotic was featured daily in Jetix in Ireland and the UK.

Character

Man

  • Tom Majors (a.k.a MajorTom) - Especially the OverWorld player, Tom Majors is the main protagonist of this series. He was then shocked and overwhelmed by his first transport to Chaotic, transforming into a Card of Beings Game and experiencing a "real battle." However, Tom finally overcame his fears and presented himself as a risk taker and an audacious tension seeker, meeting the Beings and exploring locations in the Perimian dimension world. Tom is honest, honest, trustworthy, and very caring about his friends. Even if his rarest and favorite cards are at stake. Tom's favorite and trademarked cards are Maxxor, the leader of Overworld Perim. His name and user name is a reference to Major Tom, the fictional astronaut of the David Bowie song Space Oddity.
  • Kazdan "Kaz" Kalinkas (a.k.a. KidChaor) - Especially UnderWorld players, Kaz focuses on the game, becomes a better player and improves his combat skills and collections. He tends to be more cautious and less brave; preferring to calculate the odds before taking the plunge, unless rare creatures, BattleGear, or Mugik are at stake. Kaz is usually helped by his world friend, H'earring, who helps him find the desired scans, usually at the price of some disgusting delicacies. Kaz often warns Tom about Perim's peril, but Tom usually ignores Kaz. Kaz's favorite card and trademark is Chaor, the leader of the Underworld.
  • Peyton (a.k.a. PeytonicMaster) - Peyton was introduced in the third episode of Chaotic when he won the battle against Tom. Particularly Mipedian players, Peyton is portrayed as a charismatic and eccentric Chaotic player. Peyton speaks in slang and has encyclopedic knowledge about the game. His strong opinions, his appearance, his unusual fighting style and the way he expresses himself all become comedy. He often tests unusual theories and strategies in combat, which, surprisingly, leads to victory more often than not. He is also very happy to show off the cool new scan results to his friends. Though he likes to win - especially with his Mipedian Beings - Peyton will also be fighting using some of the Perimeter's freakiest Beings, only to have the experience turn into them and "feel their vibrations." While most Chaotic players think that one tribe is better than the other, Peyton knows how to "look past personality and find strength", although when he does not test different creatures, he prefers his Mipedian deck.

  • Sarah (a.k.a. ChaotiKween) - introduced in the second episode of Chaotic when she saved Tom's butt when she was tricked into going to Ken-I-Po lake in Perim. Especially a Danish player, Sarah is an intelligent and passionate group of women with an intention to express her thoughts. A fearless and cunning Chaotic player, he is often in hostile situations with boys and/or other players. On several occasions, Sarah proved to have enough courage when faced with a creature that angered her and often at the time of leading Tom, Peyton or Kaz to drag her out of danger. He is also known as a hardcore scanner, he will be camping for weeks just to get rare scans. She is also very protective of boys and willing to do anything to help them. Sarah proved to have a close relationship with Tom. This may be due to the fact that he was the first person he met in Perim and his introduction into the main character group.
  • Krystella and Klaybourne (a.k.a. Klayotic) - Krystella and Klay are the cunning team of pranksters who serve as the main antagonists of the series. They meet briefly after the series begins. They are almost always together. This duo's favorite activity, besides fighting in Chaotic, is the sabotage of the main character. Krystella and Klay are arrogant, arrogant, rude and patronizing. Klay looks more like using Lord Van Bloot over all the other cards.
