In the comic strip Charles M. Schulz Peanuts , Snoopy is often pronounced to have seven siblings. Five appear at various times on the strip: four siblings, Andy , Marbles , Olaf , and Spike ; and one sister, Belle . The other two are never mentioned in comic strips. According to the 1991 special TV Snoopy's Reunion, their names are Molly and Rover ; However, their appearance is not considered canonical on comic strips. In a strip comic on June 6, 1959, after the birth of Charlie Brown's sister Sally, Snoopy stated that he did not have a brother or sister, and was "the only dog". However, in the strip of March 18, 1971, Snoopy wrote in his autobiography: "I was born on a sunny spring morning at Daisy Hill Puppy Farm I was one of eight puppies."
Their mother was called Missy, but only appeared once on Peanuts on July 26, 1996. T-shirts sold for several years at Target and other stores showed Spike, Andy, Snoopy, Marbles and Olaf in a parody of the famous dogs that play poker, although many ad copy incorrectly identify the characters.
Andy, Marbles, Olaf, Spike, and Belle appeared briefly during the movie credits The Peanuts Movie .

Spike
Spikes most often appear on the strip. His appearance is similar to Snoopy, but he is substantially thinner, has a constantly drowsy look, a long sport, a grim mustache that looks like a mustache, and wears fedora. He sometimes wears Mickey Mouse shoes which are a gift from Mickey Mouse. He called Snoopy's older brother during the first story where he appeared. Spike lives alone in a cactus, in the middle of the desert near Needles, California, only occasionally interacting with the main characters on the strip, generally in visiting Snoopy. His friends are mostly saguaro cactus die. In 1991's Snoopy's Reunion , Spike's home was a large empty saguaro where he kept his books and fiddle. Spike was named after the childhood dog of Charles Schulz.
When he was introduced to the strip, it was revealed that Spike's very low weight was because he had lived with a coyote, and his job was to clean up their nest, which seemed to cause him to burn a lot of body fat. Although he got a better appearance after his first visit to Brown's household, he apparently had to go "back to business" soon after returning home, as he soon became as thin as before.
She is temporarily a Rerun dog in I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown , and also has a special television, This Girl on the Red Truck, Charlie Brown , where she is the main character. She is also the main character in Snoopy's Getting Married, Charlie Brown, where she is shown traveling from Needles to visit Snoopy to become the best beagle at her wedding. Spike competes in a dog race to earn money for bus tickets. He won the race, but was later disqualified for not being a greyhound. The last scene shows Spike returning home to the Needles where his private residence is a saguaro cactus pierced with modern amenities in it, where he rewards himself for his long journey by eating a cake from Snoopy's wedding.
As long as Spike's story is saved by Snoopy and a group of Woodstock friends, from a group of coyotes. Coyote seems very angry after Spike trying to sell beach condos in the Needles desert. In August 1977, Spike will be Snoopy's best man at his wedding, but ends up marrying off with Snoopy's fiancee and then dumping him for the coyote. In 1988, Snoopy was convinced in a letter from Spike that the Summer Olympics were moved from Yuma to Phoenix. Snoopy, of course, realized that the claim was wrong, after Spike admitted that his "friend", saguaro cactus, had told him about the rumor. On February 15, 1987, Spike tried to bury his fedora in time capsule for future civilization to learn "Do not open until 6987!", But leave this idea when he can not survive in the cold desert night without the warmth his hat has provided.
Another arc story from the 1980s featuring Spike as a hero; Charlie Brown's baseball team was at loggerheads when the owners of the empty space they played were told not to allow them to use the field again because of possible liability. Spike did a real estate coup in which the coyote (still living in Phoenix) bought empty land so the children could once again play.
Spike is used in one sporadic appearance through the remainder of Peanuts history but he is a recurring character between 1984-1988. Another storyline was in 1994, when he and his siblings, Olaf and Andy visited Snoopy at the hospital. They left shortly after Snoopy got better.
Starting in a series of strips from May 1981, Spike began to join Snoopy in World War I adventures as an infantry soldier who fought in trenches, a change in Spike's appearance was that he wore a Brodie helace to World War I soldiers, not his. trademark fedora. In the 1996 series when Spike fell ill with influenza, Snoopy and Spike's mother, Missy, came with an army ship to visit, wearing fur hats (the soldiers who were manning the horse-drawn carriages as well as the beagle dog). This is his only appearance on the strip. At least two strips mentioned his encounter with Mickey Mouse.
In Reunion Snoopy , Spike is shown being taken away by a wealthy family (with a limo). In comics Sunday, September 18, 1994, Spike admits that he fled from his owner to the Needles after accidentally chasing a rabbit down the street, where he was hit. In The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show "The Lost Ballpark" episode Spike has a cameo appearance, his first appearance in media other than newspapers.
Spike's last appearance on the comic strip was on December 21, 1999, two months before the termination of the strip. Big Spike Statue is in a Subway restaurant in Needles.

Andy and Olaf
Andy and Olaf live together on a farm. Andy is distinguished by his shaggy mantle, but instead looks like Snoopy. Olaf does not resemble Snoopy or any of his other brothers. He also wears a hunting hat. Olaf has now taken up residence in Orange, California and works as a maintenance manager at a department store. Olaf also said his favorite book is still "Joe Bunny", which he has had since childhood.
Olaf was first seen during the series on January 19, 1989, where he visited Snoopy. During this sequence, Lucy enters with Olaf in a "bad dog" contest, which she won (much to her disappointment). He is quite fat compared to other Snoopy brothers. He reappeared in 1994 (beginning 14 February), where he, Andy, and Spike visited Snoopy, who was in the hospital. After Snoopy got better, the three brothers left without saying goodbye. This is Andy's first appearance on the strip.
After that, Olaf and Andy were shown four times in 1994. They sat in front of a barn, contemplating which way their lives should go. They appear sporadically after that.
Olaf usually plays a pitcher, and Andy has a full drum set, but it's a bit awkward to carry it and drop it from time to time.
Andy and Olaf spend some time traveling to Needles to stay with Spike. However, after the "twists to right and twenty-three were wrong" they finally returned to Snoopy's dog house. After a short stay and failing to become a Rerun dog, they continued to roam and consider buying a banjo in their last appearance on September 27, 1999. In particular, Andy was the only Peanuts character from animation before appearing on the strip (with the exception of Molly, Rover, and Missy, mom). Her animated debut was 1991 special TV Snoopy's Reunion . Andy is based on a wire-haired terrier (also named Andy) who owned Schulz from October 1988 to March 1994.
Both Olaf and Andy make their second animated appearance at I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown through flashback scenes.
Belle
Belle is Snoopy's sister. He lives in Kansas City, Missouri, with his teenage son, which Snoopy noted as resembling the Pink Panther. He is known for making bows. Once he makes a bow that looks like an English flag. He also wore a beret in the episode of Snoopy and Siblings, "Ma Cherie: The Trip to Paris". Belle itself resembles her sister, but with longer eyelashes. In addition, he wears a lace collar. Sometimes, she wears a pearl necklace.
Belle only made a few appearances on the strip, but was remembered for being Belle's stuffed animals sold in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Many people who are not regular readers of the strip comics mistakenly think that he is Snoopy's boyfriend, not his sister. In Snoopy World War I fantasy, Belle is a nurse.
Snoopy's sister made her first appearance in a strip comic on June 28, 1976, although she was mentioned by Snoopy earlier on June 22, 1976. Belle also appeared briefly in the opening sequence of The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show . When she was mentioned in the opening song lyrics, Belle never appeared in a cartoon series. Similar to Spike, Belle also plays violin.
In 1984, Snoopy and Belle inspired fashion designers around the world, including Lagerfeld, Armani, and de la Renta to create their only outfit to honor them. Both beagles are modeled for the exhibition "Snoopy in Fashion" held that year in Japan.
In addition to the aforementioned appearance in the opening credits of TCB & amp; SS , Belle's animated special is 1991's Snoopy's Reunion . Also she mentioned, but not seen, in 2003 I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown .
Marbles
Marbles , supposedly the most intelligent of his siblings, is a spindly beagle that looks a little on the comic strip in 1982 from September 30th to October 9th. Unlike Snoopy Spike and Belle's brothers, he does not share in Snoopy's Fantasy World War I scene, sees Snoopy's Sopwith Camel as his dog house, "ambulance" as a shopping cart, etc. while commenting that "... he [Snoopy] is always the quietest in the family." He is also seen wearing jogging shoes.
She also appeared in 1991 Snoopy's Reunion animated feature, and in a flashback from Charlie Brown when Charlie Brown was talking to Rerun about Snoopy's brother. Marbles play banjo.
Other siblings
Two other siblings, Molly and Rover , appeared in 1991 Snoopy Reunion special TV ; However, Schulz never describes or names these characters on comic strips, so these names are not considered canonical. In the television show, these two siblings play dobro and mandolin. Molly proved to be spoiled because she has her own makeup.
Snoopyy's parents
Snoopy's father, Baxter, and Snoopy's mother, Missy, each appeared only once in comic strips (father on June 18, 1989, and his mother on July 26, 1996), but only Missy appeared on television. Missy appeared in Snoopy's Reunion in flashbacks when Snoopy and his siblings were born and bought by people. Snoopy's dad is said to have lived in Florida, and he wears glasses and has a mustache. Snoopy's mother looks like a female version of Snoopy (similar to Belle and Molly).
