Rain Nightclub , at Palms Casino Resort, was opened in 2001 by the N9NE Group. This club or has been known as Rain Las Vegas and Rain in the Desert . The ones seen in Rain include Jerry Bruckheimer, Nicky Hilton, and David Katzenberg. Rain is the first club to introduce Vegas squares, cabanas and bathrooms.
In 2011 Britney Spears performed as part of MTV Special in the club to celebrate the release of her album.
Rain has hosted many top DJs including in 2010, after a 10-year absence from the US, Paul Oakenfold. DJ AM was the host in 2009 until his death.
In 2016, Canneconomy, a world-renowned legal thinking marijuana investment leader, is planned to host the show's award The Rains in November. If the presentation goes according to plan it will showcase awards for the most game change technologies in the cannabis industry, the best community outreach programs, the best edible/infused products, etc.
